‘Radio,’ Coach Harold Jones to speak at Troy University’s Helen Keller Lecture

James Robert “Radio” Kennedy and Coach Harold Jones will speak at Troy University’s 12th annual Helen Keller Lecture at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17 in the Claudia Crosby Theater on the Troy Campus. “Radio” and Coach Jones will be available to the media on the theater stage for 10 to 15 minutes immediately following the 10 a.m. lecture.

Due to the large audience expected for these lecture sessions, please contact the Office of University Relations to confirm your attendance.

Other events being held in conjunction with the lecture include:

• ·              Wednesday, April 18, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Art exhibit featuring the artwork of area school children – Bibb Graves Quad, Troy Campus.

• ·              Thursday, April 19, 2 to 7 p.m. – Troy University students will be conducting free eye screening for children ages 2 to 18 through the FocusFirst program – Second floor lounge of the Trojan Center, Troy Campus.
