MONTGOMERY – The Troy University College of Communication and Fine Arts is bringing its production of the musical Nunsense to the Davis Theatre stage for one evening only on Tuesday, May 8, at 7 p.m. Seating is still available and costs $10 per ticket.
Nunsense follows the madcap adventures of the Little Sisters of Hoboken as they stage a benefit revue to raise money to bury a group of nuns accidentally poisoned by their own convent chef! Under the direction of TROY faculty member Adena Moree, this production will feature rousing musical numbers, tap and ballet dancing, an audience quiz and plenty of comic surprises.

Nunsense has received four Outer Critics Circle Awards including Best Off-Broadway Musical and has become the second longest running musical in off-Broadway history, second only to The Fantasticks.
This production is presented as a part of the 2006-2007 University Series for Troy University’s Davis Theatre. Single tickets are now available for purchase at $10 per ticket. For more information regarding ticket availability, call the theatre at (334) 241-9567. Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. – noon.
