TROY, Ala.-Two Troy University students will present research papers during the Chancellor’s Fellowship Symposium for the College of Arts and Sciences at 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, at the Hawkins-Adams-Long Hall of Honor on the Troy Campus.
Presenters include 2006-07 Trojan Pride Scholarship winner Ralph Wilson of Enterprise, whose paper is entitled “Characterizations of chaotic behavior in a glow of discharge plasma,” and the 2006-07 Chancellor’s Fellowship Scholar Jeff Daniel of Troy, who will speak on “Experimental studies of the electron density and temperature in a radio frequency plasma.”
Following the presentations, the 2007-08 scholarship winners will be announced. Refreshments will be served immediately following the program.
Scott Nokes, assistant professor of English at TROY and chair of the Chancellor’s Fellowship committee, encouraged members of the public to attend the Symposium. “This symposium offers an opportunity to see the work being done by our best and brightest of TROY students,” he said.
