Education Students Release Painted Lady Butterflies on Campus

Pictured are the elementary and early childhood students in Instructor JoAnn McFarland's Integrated Program class. They have been involved in the stages of butterfly development and were excited to release the butterflies on campus.  "In addition to learning the theory and the textbook content, it is important for the pre-service teachers to learn how to engage children in real-life experiential learning," McFarland said.
