MONTGOMERY – Brigadier General Edward F. Crowell, United States Air Force, will deliver the keynote address at Troy University’s Montgomery Campus spring commencement at 7 p.m. on May 10 in the Davis Theatre for the Performing Arts on the University’s Montgomery Campus.

Brigadier General Crowell is the mobilization assistant to the commander, Air University, Air Education and Train Command, Maxwell Air Force Base. He has served a number of short tours of active duty in the Air Force Reserve Command while maintaining civilian employment. 

In civilian life, Brigadier General Crowell is senior vice president of Miltope Corporation, a major defense contractor.  He is responsible for all human resources, computer information systems, facilities, safety and security matters company-wide.

General Crowell is a Troy University alumnus, earning a master of business administration in 2001.
