Senior exhibit opens Thursday

TROY – Troy University’s Department of Art and Design will showcase the talents of its seniors May 3 – 11 in Malone Hall.

This year’s senior thesis exhibition, entitled “The Big Event,” is the result of a research project of students pursuing a professional degree in art, design or photography. The works are the results of their findings.

A reception for the artists and designers will be 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. on May 10.

“Each year, the work seems to get stronger and stronger,” said Jerry Johnson, chairman of the department. “I am amazed how thought-provoking and inquisitive these students are becoming.
