Troy University Awards Scholarships

Dorothea Culver of Headland is the recipient of the Ruth Elizabeth LaPointe Milner Scholarship. Culver is majoring in general business at Troy University. Milner Scholarships are tuition-waiver scholarships available to mothers, housewives or widows. To qualify, applicants must have a financial need and must be seeking an undergraduate degree in business at the Dothan Campus, after making careers as homemakers

Wanda Kinsey of Headland is a recipient of the Student Affairs Scholarship. Kinsey is majoring in secondary education with a concentration in mathematics at Troy University. The Student Affairs Scholarship is a two-year, half-tuition scholarship available to currently enrolled undergraduate students at the Dothan Campus. To qualify, students must demonstrate academic potential and financial need and must have a cumulative college GPA of at least 2.75.
