TROY named one of best colleges in Southeastern United States

TROY – For the third consecutive year, Troy University has been named among the top colleges in the southeastern United States by the Princeton Review.

The University is among 146 schools receiving the “Best in the Southeast” designation, as rated by student opinions on 654 college and university campuses in the region.

“This distinction underscores our philosophy at TROY that the most important thing we do is serve our students,” said Dr. Jack Hawkins Jr., the University’s chancellor.

“At Troy University, our students are known by name rather than by number and that translates into a high-quality education,”

The 80-question survey asks students to rate their schools on several topics and report on their experiences at them. Topics include: academics/administration, life at the school, their fellow students, and themselves. Surveys are conducted on campuses and via the Princeton Review website at which students have the option of completing a secure survey online.
