Natural History Specialist Brent Nixon (center) meets with teachers during a Wiregrass Math & Science Consortium Seminar at Troy University. Nixon uses high energy nature talks about everything from whales to bears to inspire educators and renew their passion for teaching. The Washington native speaks nationally and internationally. Through the Wiregrass Math & Science Consortium, Nixon also visited with children at six Dothan City and Henry and Houston County schools.
