TROY, Ala. – Troy University students will be stepping up to celebrate Black History Month on Feb. 26 at the University’s annual Step Show.

The step show, sponsored by the University’s Pan Hellenic Council, the Student Government Association and the Alpha Alpha Lambda Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, is set for 7 p.m. in Trojan Arena on the Troy Campus.

Derrick Brewster, coordinator of auxiliary services and student activities, said the SGA formed the step show in 1995 to formulate a more unified Greek system.

“In the past, we have seen various Greek organizations join together to display a great show,” Brewster said.  “This year we are expecting a large crowd from the students as well as great participation from the Greeks.”
