Troy University’s Wiregrass Math and Science Consortium Meets with Space Shuttle Crew

During a visit to NASA’s Johnson Space Center and Space Center Houston, members of Troy University’s Wiregrass Math and Science Consortium pose for a photo with the crew of shuttle mission STS-120. Teacher Renee Merritt of Wicksburg Elementary meets with Mission Specialist Paolo Nespoli of the European Space Agency during a recent visit to Johnson Space Center in Houston. Merritt and members of Troy University’s Wiregrass Math and Science Consortium were given the rare opportunity to watch Nespoli and several NASA astronauts train for an upcoming space mission.
