TROY – Troy University’s Small Business Development Center, the Pike County Economic Development Center and The Entrepreneur Source will present a two-hour seminar entitled “Be Your Own Boss” Jan. 22.
The seminar runs from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Pike County Economic Development Center, US Highway 231 in Troy.
The seminar is free; however, seating is limited. For reservations, call 334-670-3771. The seminar targets individuals who are considering starting a business.
Evelyn Livermore is the managing partner of the Navarre office of The Entrepreneur’s Source. She became a franchisee because of her desire to help people achieve their career dreams and because of the opportunity for personal growth. She is a graduate of the E-Source Academy, an intense rigorous training program on coaching, franchising and self-employment options. She attends more than five hours of weekly training to hone her coaching skills so that she can better service her clients.
Livermore has more than 15 years of experience in management. Prior to joining the Entrepreneur’s Source her career included Capital One Financial Services, NASD, Inc., Citigroup and Pratt & Whitney. She has a bachelor of science degree from Troy University and a master’s degree from Clemson University.
Also included in the program will be information about different sources of loans to start your small business.
