TROY, Ala. – The 7th annual Ms. Shamrock Pageant will be held at 7 p.m. on March 1 in the Claudia Crosby Theater on the Troy Campus.

All females, married or single, who are attending a Troy University campus in Alabama, are eligible to compete. Contestants will be judged by on-stage evening wear and modeling. Organizations, individuals, businesses and families are encouraged to sponsor contestants. 

The winner of the Ms. Shamrock Pageant will receive a $150 book scholarship, crown and sash.  In addition to being featured as a Grand Marshall in the University’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Ms. Shamrock will attend the University Scholarship Brunch and Alumni Reunion Dinner as a part of Alabama’s Official St. Patrick’s Day Celebration on Saturday, March 10. 

The first alternate will receive a $100 book scholarship, and the second alternate will receive a $50 book scholarship.  The scholarships are sponsored by the Troy University Alumni Association.
