EDITORS/NEWS DIRECTORS: On July 27, there are a number of events taking place on Troy University’s Troy Campus. Because of these activities, and in an effort to help facilitate your organization’s coverage, Chancellor Jack Hawkins Jr., has invited members of the working media to join him at the commencement luncheon honoring summer commencement speaker Max Roberts, president of Barnes & Noble College Booksellers.

The tentative schedule of events on July 27 are:

                        10:30 a.m.:      Summer Commencement

                        Noon:              Luncheon (by invitation only)

                        1:45 p.m.:        Ribbon cutting for Trojan Village (new dorms)

2:30 p.m.:        Ribbon cutting for new Barnes and Noble on-campus bookstore

                        3:15 p.m.:        Board of Trustees meeting
