During Space Camp at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, seven Wiregrass teachers suit up for a simulated space flight and moon walk. The educators are members of the Wiregrass Math & Science Consortium, which is based at Troy University. During their trip, they participated in the Exploring Space Program offered through the University of Alabama in Huntsville Division of Continuing Education. The Alabama Commission on Higher Education funds both the Consortium and the Exploring Space Program.
