| DOTHAN – The Troy University Library will show a new documentary on the Alabama Constitution produced by Homewood High School graduate Lewis Lehe April 9 on the Dothan Campus. The 49-minute film, It’s a Thick Book, explores the complexities of the 1901 Alabama Constitution, the longest state constitution in the nation. Lehe, who currently attends college in Pennsylvania, argues that reform is badly needed.
The student documentary maker’s work premiered in early March and is currently showing at various locations around the state. The film will be presented on the Dothan Campus at 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in Sony Hall. The public is invited to attend the free showing. After the film, Mark Berte, of Alabama Citizens for Constitutional Reform, will hold a question and answer session.
