TROY – International unity is the theme of a celebration at Troy University on Wednesday.
The International Festival that begins at 2:30 p.m. in the Shackelford Quad on the Troy Campus features demonstrations and displays by members of TROY’s international student community.
Foreign cuisines and cultural performances will also be conducted, said Dean of International Student Services Darlene Stewart.
Admission to the International Festival, a part of International Education Week that began Nov. 11, is free and open to the public.
On Nov. 10, the Indian Student Association started the week with the Diwali Festival of Lights, symbolizing the victory of good over evil.

Each spring, Troy University’s International Student Cultural Association hosts the ISCO Festival, highlighting food and entertainment of the University’s nearly 700 international students.
