Former news editor joins TROY University Relations staff

TROY – Troy University officials have announced that Matt Clower has joined the Office of University Relations as a coordinator.

Clower’s duties will include coordinating media affairs for the Dothan, Montgomery and Phenix City campuses.
 
“Matt’s enthusiasm and news experience will allow us to better serve not only our TROY family but the news media and public as well,” said Tom Davis, Director of University Relations.
 
Prior to joining the TROY staff, Clower worked for three years at “The Messenger,” a five-day newspaper in Troy, where he served as a reporter and then news editor.
 
Clower is a 2004 graduate of Troy University and was an editor of “The Tropolitan,” TROY’s weekly student newspaper.
