DOTHAN – Teachers and school administrators can still register for the Wiregrass Education Conference at Troy University. The two-day workshop, which focuses on “Teaching the Whole Child,” gets underway on the Dothan Campus Sunday, January 6 from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Sessions continue Monday, January 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Dr. Jack Hawkins, Jr., Troy University chancellor, will open the conference with a keynote address. During breakout sessions, presenters will cover topics including crisis counseling, technology and economics as they relate to educating the whole child.

K-12 educators, who are not already pre-registered, are invited to sign up on Sunday or Monday. A registration table will be located in the Rotunda of the Library-Technology Building.
