TROY, Ala.—Troy University’s Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion will hold the 2008 Nick Costes 5-K and team relay run on April 5 on the Troy Campus.

The run, which will take participants on a route through the University’s campus, will begin at 8:30 a.m. on University Avenue across from Trojan Arena.  

New to this year’s event is the 5 by 1-K Team Relay. Teams of five people can run the 5K route as a relay; each member running 1k. Team members will be directed to their exchange zones ahead of race start. Each team member must turn in a registration form.

Entry forms are available from Troy University, Wright Hall, Suite 205 or by contacting Michael Green at mgreen@troy.edu. Registration is $10 for individuals and $40 per team entry.  Pre-registration ends March 28. Registration will be available the day of the race, beginning at 7:30 a.m.

All net proceeds will benefit Troy University’s Department of Kinesiology & Health Promotion (KHP) Club.  The KHP Club supports sport and health education to students and community members throughout the Troy area.
