Gov. John Patterson available to media
Sept. 16: Gov. John Patterson will be available for media interviews at Troy University at 2:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Hall School of Journalism. Accompanying Gov. Patterson will be Warren Trest, who authored “Nobody But the People,” a biographical look at Gov. Patterson’s public service and World War II heroism.
The Hall School of Journalism is located on the first floor of the Lurleen B. Wallace Library.
At 3 p.m., Gov. Patterson will be a guest on “Alabama Politics with Steve Flowers,” a new 30-minute talk show that airs on TrojanVision, the University’s television station.
At 4 p.m. Gov. Patterson and Mr. Trest will conduct a book signing event at Barnes & Noble on the Troy Campus.

Cynthia Cooper to speak in Davis Theatre
Sept. 10: WorldCom whistle blower Cynthia Cooper will offer her insights into the world of corporate ethics during a speech at Troy University’s Davis Theatre in Montgomery at 7 p.m.
A media availability with Mrs. Cooper is planned for the afternoon of Sept. 10 prior to her speech that night. Final details including the exact time and location of the event will be finalized by Monday afternoon and we will follow up with an additional media advisory.
