TROY Dothan Campus students observe Constitution Day

DOTHANStudents at Troy University’s Dothan Campus observed Constitution Day on Thursday, Sept. 17, by trying to promote better understanding of the U.S Constitution.

The Dothan Campus student ambassadors passed out pocket-sized copies of the Constitution to students, faculty and staff. They also distributed voter registration forms to any students who had not yet registered to vote.

Constitution Day was initiated in 2004 through legislation sponsored by Sen. Robert C. Byrd of West Virginia, who was concerned that American students lacked understanding of the Constitution.
