Troy University to have financial crisis town hall meeting

TROY – Troy University’s Sorrell College of Business and the Center for International Business and Economic Development will conduct a town hall meeting on the national financial crisis on April 14.

Dr. Judson Edwards, an economist and director of the Center will speak on “Uncharted Waters: Can Government Stimulate the Service Economy?” and Mr. Robert E. Stewart will discuss “Inflation or National Bankruptcy” from 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the Claudia Crosby Theater on the Troy Campus.
 
This seminar is in response to the community’s demand for more information and follows a “town hall meeting” the two faculty members conducted in last September, Dr. Edwards said.
 
The meeting is free and open to the public.
