Phenix City officials to announce partnership with Troy University

February 20: Mayor Sonny Coulter and members of the City Council of Phenix City will announce the signing of a new agreement with Troy University. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. EST at City Hall in Phenix City.
 
The tentative schedule of events is as follows:
  • Welcome by Mayor Coulter
  • Comments from Mayor Coulter
  • Comments from Dr. Jack Hawkins, Jr., Chancellor of Troy University
  • Signing of the agreement
  • Meet with representatives of the news media

Representatives of the news media are asked to be in place in the City Council Chambers in City Hall by 9:45 a.m. EST.
 
NOTE: Because the Mayor and all members of the City Council are expected to be present for this ceremony, City Clerk Charlotte Sierra (334-448-2720) will issue an official notice of a called meeting of the Council.
