Weather postpones TROY Fly-A-Teacher Day event

DOTHAN—Troy University’s Wiregrass Math and Science Consortium Fly-A-Teacher Day event scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 28 at the Dothan Airport has been postponed due to the likelihood of inclement weather.
 
The event will now be held on Saturday, March 7 starting at 9 a.m.
 
Three Civil Air Patrol planes will give a group of local teachers an aerial tour of the Wiregrass, including a flyover of each of their homes. The teachers will take photographs during the flights and will use those images in classroom lessons.
