TROY Dothan Campus to offer ballroom dancing course

DOTHAN—The Continuing Education Center at Troy University’s Dothan Campus will offer an eight-week course on ballroom dancing starting Oct. 15.

Designed for couples, the course will teach basic steps including form, style, leading and following. Participants will learn to identify the music’s beat and temp to determine the most appropriate dance.

The class will meet on Thursdays from Oct. 15 through Dec. 10, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Registration is $95 per couple which includes a CD and materials. Class size is limited.
