TROY Dothan Campus to celebrate Heritage Week

April 13-17: – Troy University’s Dothan Campus will celebrate Heritage Week with a series of free events starting on Monday, April 13.

Heritage Week events will include:

  • Monday, April 13- The Troy University Community Band of Dothan will perform at 7 p.m. in Sony Hall inside the Library Technology Building. A press release about the concert is available online: troy.edu/news/archives/2009/april/04062009_community_band.html
  • Tuesday, April 14- The annual John Woodham Memorial Lecture starts at 4 p.m. in Sony Hall. A press release is available at: troy.edu/news/archives/2009/april/04082009_woodham.html
  • Thursday, April 16- The SGA Spring Picnic on the quad will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and then from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for evening students
  • Friday, April 17- From 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. volunteers will clean up the Harrison Walking Trails located behind Malone Hall for the Spirit of Service project. Heritage Week will conclude on Friday with the Honors Convocation recognizing outstanding student academic achievements at 6 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church.
