Registration underway for the TROY Bobby Pierce Baseball Camp

DOTHAN—Troy University’s Dothan Campus invites boys and girls ages 6 to 13 to learn more about baseball fundamentals from TROY head baseball coach Bobby Pierce.

The Bobby Pierce Troy University Baseball Camp will be held on Thursday, July 16, at the Dixie Youth Complex at Westgate Park in Dothan. Coach Pierce, along with members of the TROY coaching staff and players, will help participants improve their hitting, fielding and throwing skills during the one-day camp.

The morning session, designed for children ages 6 through 9, will run from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The afternoon session will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and will offer children ages 10 through 13 a chance to improve their skills.

Camp sponsors include the Troy University Wiregrass Alumni Chapter, ScreenTech, CenturyTel, Carr, Riggs & Ingram, Dairy Fresh, Dothan Leisure Services, WOOF 99.7 FM, SportsTalk AM 560 WOOF “The Ball,” The Dothan Eagle, Photorama and Burger King.
