TROY Dothan Campus announces new SGA officers, senators

DOTHAN—Students at Troy University’s Dothan Campus this week elected new Student Government Association officers and senators for 2009-2010.

The new officers and senators are:

President
Jerry Traylor, a graduate student in counseling and psychology from Hartford
Vice President
Tammy Kincey, a graduate student in education from Headland
Secretary
Misty Michelle Deese, a psychology major from Ozark
Clerk
LaTyron McCall, a biology major from Dothan
Senators
Marina Cortes, a psychology major from Hartford
Alyssa Davis, an elementary education major from Dothan
Tamara Forrester of Webb
Baby Hardamon a psychology major from Dothan
Angela Franciosi-Herzberg, a biology major from Daleville
Valerie Green, an elementary education major from Eufaula
Faye Kelly, a criminal justice major from Ozark
Ashley Maccioni, an elementary education major from Columbia
Bridget Macolly, a graduate student in international relations from Midland City
Billie Merriman, a psychology major from Dothan
Angel Pulllum, an accounting major from Hartford
Veronica Rogers, a psychology major from Midland City
Pam Souders, an elementary education major from Daleville
Ashley Zorn, an elementary education major from Samson

New this year, the SGA president will receive a scholarship funded by contributions from the Troy University Wiregrass Alumni Chapter. Under the new scholarship, the SGA president can earn up to $250 each semester based on hours of service.

All of the new officers and senators will be formally inducted during a ceremony later this summer.
