TROY—Troy University officials have named Dr. Toni L. Taylor Senior Human Resources Director.
The announcement was made by Mr. Jim Bookout, Senior Vice Chancellor for Finance and Business Affairs.
“Dr. Taylor has already made an impact in the human resources office. Her talents will prove to be an asset to the University and its faculty and staff,” he said.
Dr. Taylor was most recently manager of compensation for the University of Notre Dame. Prior to that she was senior classification and compensation analyst at Auburn University. Her work includes stints as an adjunct statistics instructor at Alabama State University, a psychometrist for East Alabama Behavioral Medicine and employment specialist for Montgomery City and County, Gwinnett County and the State of Alabama.
She earned a Ph.D. in educational psychology from Auburn University, and completed both masters and bachelors degrees in psychology at Auburn University Montgomery.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve Troy University. The Human Resources Department has a great staff and I feel confident we will continue to advance the function,” she said.
Dr. Taylor replaces long-time human resources director Dr. Lee Vardaman, who was named associate provost for academic support earlier this year.
