Groundbreaking for Bibb Graves Hall

10 a.m. Sept. 19: A groundbreaking ceremony will be conducted at Bibb Graves Hall at 10 a.m. The original structure on the Troy Campus, Bibb Graves Hall is undergoing renovation and enlargement to house additional academic space as well as the Confucius Institute and the Center for International Business and Economic Development.

The ceremony will take place on the Quad in front of the building. Speaking will be:

  • Chancellor Jack Hawkins, Jr.
  • Neal Wade, Director, Alabama Development Office
  • Dr. Guohua Yan, Director and Consul of Education, Consulate General of the People‚Äôs Republic of China in Houston, Texas
  • Kaye Sheridan, Interim Dean, Sorrell College of Business

Media parking will be available in the lot between the Adams Administration Building and McCartha Hall, on the north. Media are asked to be in place no later than 9:45 a.m.
