TROY accounting majors presented scholarships by ASCPA

DOTHAN—Four accounting majors at Troy University’s Dothan Campus were recently presented scholarships by the Southeast Chapter of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Each recipient was awarded a $500 tuition scholarship for the fall, 2009 semester. The students were chosen based on grade point average and community and school involvement.

The scholarship recipients were:

  • Thomas Daprato of Dothan
  • Katherine Haman of Dothan
  • Emily Ivey Mathis of Dothan
  • Tamra Williams of Gordon

The presentations were made by ASPCA member Robert Bankston, a CPA with Bevis, Eberhart, Browning, Walker & Stewart, P.C.
