MONTGOMERY—The C-SPAN Civics Bus will visit Troy University’s Rosa Parks Museum on Tuesday, Dec. 1, to mark the 54th anniversary of Rosa Parks' refusal to give up her seat on the bus.

The Civics Bus will be parked on Molton Street from noon until 2:30 p.m.

The C-SPAN Civics Bus is a mobile education center that travels around the country visiting high schools, universities, civics clubs, libraries and museums to inform the public about C-SPAN’s unique public affairs programming.

The bus will be open to all museum visitors, as well as students, faculty and staff at the Montgomery Campus. Visitors are invited to come on board the bus to learn about C-SPAN's coverage of events, resources and internship opportunities.

Additionally, visitors will learn how to access the C-SPAN Video Library where they can view past programs taped at the Rosa Parks Library and Museum, as well as history and book programs about Rosa Parks.
