Monday, November 23, 11 a.m.: Alabama Attorney General Troy King and Troy University Chancellor Jack Hawkins, Jr. will conduct a news conference at the offices of the University’s Information Technology department, located in the Parklane Shopping Center in Troy.
An additional media advisory will be issued by the Attorney General’s Office to capitol reporters on this event.
Media wishing to cover this event are asked to be in place no later than 10:45 a.m. Immediately following the conference, a tour of the Troy University Computer Forensics Institute will be given.
The Parklane Shopping Center, the site of the GCI location announcement, is located on South Brundidge Street in Troy. The IT offices are located at the east end of the shopping center, closest to Park Street.
Groundbreaking for Fraternity Village
TROY CAMPUS, Saturday, November 21:Troy University will conduct a groundbreaking ceremony for its new Fraternity Village housing project at 11 a.m. The ceremony will take place in the gravel parking lot immediately behind Hawkins Hall on Collegedale Avenue. Media covering the event are asked to be in place no later than 10:45 a.m.
Designated media parking will be available in the vicinity of Hawkins Hall on Collegedale Avenue.
