Marketing, communication courses offered at TROY Continuing Education Center

DOTHAN—The Continuing Education Center at Troy University’s Dothan Campus will offer courses on low-cost marketing strategies and effective communication on Monday, Jan. 25.

The “No Money Marketing” class will cover up-to-date and inexpensive strategies for small business owners to market their business, including email marketing. The class will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the registration fee is $49.

The “Communication, Conflict and Personalities” class is a fun, eye-opening experience in which participants will learn their personality type and how it impacts communication with peers, managers and others. The Myers-Brigg Type Indicator will be administered with results delivered privately. Participants will learn how conflict and miscommunication can occur between different personality types and how to develop good working relations at work and at home. The class will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and registration is $75.
