TROY Dothan Campus to offer course on “Common Sense Economics”

DOTHAN—Members of the community can learn more about everyday economics including budgeting, debt and banking during a seminar at Troy University’s Dothan Campus on Tuesday, March 30.

Taught by TROY professor Dr. Lane Boyte, “Common Sense Economics” is a crash course on basic economics with a focus on concepts useful in everyday life. Topics covered will include the necessity of a budget, good debt vs. bad debt, income and choices, jobs of the future and the pros of banking.

The class will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Continuing Education Center located in Adams Hall room 200. Registration is $39.
