TROY to offer Seminar on Ethics and the Professional Counselor

DOTHAN—Troy University will offer a seminar on ethics for professional counselors on Tuesday, April 20, at the Dothan Campus.

Participants will receive an overview of the definition of ethics in the counseling profession and gain insight into the ethical codes of the various specialty areas of counseling. A sampling of ethical cases and their outcomes will be reviewed. The seminar is open to all counselors.

Other sessions will be offered on Tuesday, May 4 and Tuesday, May 18. Each seminar awards three contact hours of continuing education credit. All sessions will be held from 9 am until noon and are instructed by Dr. Virginia Mayer, Ed.D., LPC.
