Troy University Spring Honors Recital is April 21

TROY—Troy University’s John M. Long School of Music will have its annual Spring Honors Recital at 6 p.m. April 21 in the Hawkins-Adams-Long Hall of Honor.

The biennial formal concert features outstanding individual student performers who have been first recommended by their private instructors then win an audition before a panel of Troy University music faculty, said Dr. Jim Zingara, who helps coordinate the recital.

Participating in this year’s recital is:

  • Wendy Cho, a senior music education major from Luverne;
  • Noel Davis, soprano, a junior music education major from Eufaula;
  • Robbie Clayson, a freshman music education major from Ozark;
  • Jacob Fortner, euphonium, a junior music education major from Lucedale, Miss.;
  • Justin Harden, flute, a senior music industry major from Tallassee;
  • Heather Payne, flute, a sophomore music industry major from Pell City; and
  • Laura Waters, piano, a junior music education major from Hazelhurst, Ga.

The recital is free and open to the public.
