TROY Dothan Campus to offer Spanish course for teachers

DOTHAN—Troy University’s Dothan Campus will offer a conversational Spanish course starting on June 7 that will focus on the specific needs of teachers in the public school system.

Using a conversational approach, participants will learn to communicate in Spanish and understand the culture of various Spanish-speaking countries. Emphasis will be placed on speaking and listening to the language in the present tense.

The course will explore various conversational situations relating to children and teens in the school setting.

The class will meet every Monday and Wednesday, June 7-23, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Registration is $45, and teachers who complete the course will earn 12 continuing education contact hours.
