TROY Dothan Campus to offer investment fundamentals course

DOTHAN—Novice investors will learn the best strategies for starting an effective investment plan during a continuing education course at Troy University’s Dothan Campus starting in October.

“Investment Fundamentals: Five Myths and Truths of Investing” will teach new investors the basic strategies of goal setting, budgeting and living within one’s means. Topics covered will include reading statements, identity protection, risk tolerance and understanding mutual funds, stocks and bonds.

The course will be taught in four weekly sessions from Oct. 7 through Oct. 28 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Dothan Campus Continuing Education Center. Registration is $79.
