Dowe crowned Homecoming Queen at Troy University

Elizabeth Dowe of Montgomery is crowned as Troy University's Homecoming queen by Gov. Bob Riley during halftime ceremonies at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Saturday. Dowe, a senior broadcast journalism major from Montgomery, is the daughter of Mary and Kevin Dowe. She is president of Phi Mu sorority, an SGA Senator representing the College of Communication and Fine Arts, SGA Director of Elections, a Trojan Ambassador and an IMPACT Leader. She is a member of Lambda Pi Eta communications honor society and Order of Omega Greek honor society.
