Troy University officials are urging all students, faculty and staff on the Troy Campus to exercise extreme caution following an off-campus assault of a student on Tuesday, Jan. 11. The City of Troy Police Department issued a statement Tuesday morning and is investigating the incident along with the Pike County Sheriff’s Department and Troy University Campus Police.

In addition, Dean of Student Services Herbert Reeves said the University’s counseling services are available to assist students who are friends of the victim.
