Ted Ellis events at Rosa Parks Museum

Nationally recognized artist Ted Ellis will participate in several events this week coinciding with the opening of his exhibit at Troy University’s Rosa Parks Museum.

Jan. 13, 6 - 8 p.m.: Ellis will discuss his work during an opening event for the exhibit at the museum on Thursday, Jan.13, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. inside the museum auditorium.

Jan. 14, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (weather permitting): Ellis will conduct a live, on-location painting of Rosa Parks’ historic former home in the Cleveland Court Apartments located at 1026 Rosa Parks Avenue on Friday, Jan. 14. Ellis will paint from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Jan. 15, 9:30 a.m. to noon: Ellis will lead an art workshop for a select group of area children at the museum on Saturday, Jan. 15, from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
