Troy University faculty featured in “Concerts at the Studio” series on March 2

TROY— Faculty members from Troy University’s John M. Long School of Music will perform March 2 as a part of the “Concerts at the Studio” series.

The Troy University Faculty Showcase, presented by the University’s John M. Long School of Music and the Troy-Pike Cultural Arts Center, is set for 7 p.m. on March 2 and will feature performances by five faculty members.

Scheduled to perform are:

  • Dr. Adam Blackstock, assistant director of bands and an assistant professor in the School of Music, on the marimba
  • Dr. Katrina Phillips, adjunct faculty member in the School of Music, on the clarinet
  • Dr. Timothy Phillips, assistant professor in the School of Music, on the clarinet
  • Dr. Hui-Ting Yang, lecturer in the School of Music, on the piano, and
  • Dr. James Zingara, associate professor in the School of Music, on the trumpet.

Admission to the concert, which is located on the corner of North Market Street and East Walnut Street in downtown Troy, is free.
