TROY names new Dothan Campus Ambassadors

DOTHAN—Troy University has appointed seven students to serve as new Dothan Campus Ambassadors for 2011-2012.

The Dothan Campus Ambassadors work to represent and promote TROY in the community, during campus functions and throughout the University's service area. They serve and assist the office of student development in student recruitment, orientation and registration.

The 2011-2012 Dothan Campus Ambassadors are:

  • Eric Beasley, a senior marine biology major from Ozark
  • Joann Le, a junior pre-professional biology major from Dothan
  • LaTyron McCall, a junior broadcast journalism major from Dothan
  • Brandon Pendarvis, a sophomore broadcast journalism major from Dothan
  • Russell Register, a senior history major from Greenwood, Fla.
  • Scotty Snell, a chemistry/math graduate student from Dothan
  • Emily Wood, a senior English major from Newton
New ambassadors are chosen from a pool of applicants each spring.
