MONTGOMERY—Troy University's Rosa Parks Museum will mark Rosa Parks' birthday by offering free tours of both the main museum and the children's wing from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m on Friday, Feb. 3.

Rosa Parks was born Feb. 4, 1913, in Tuskegee, Ala.

Constructed on the site of the Empire Theatre where Parks was famously arrested for refusing to give up her seat on a Montgomery Bus, the Rosa Parks Museum opened in December 2000 with the mission of preserving and interpreting the story and lasting legacy of the Montgomery Bus Boycott.
