TROY - Troy University's Office of Career Services will hold a career fair on the Troy Campus on Feb. 29, in the Trojan Center ballrooms from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This event is free and open to all students, alumni and employers and will allow participants to discuss positions within a variety of fields, including business, information systems, computer science, accounting, finance, management, insurance, customer service, biology and liberal arts.
All participating students and alumni are encouraged to bring their resumes.
"Troy University's career fair is a fantastic opportunity for our students to meet a variety of businesses from across the state and beyond," said Lauren Cole, coordinator of career services. "All students should attend whether they are freshmen who are just starting to explore career options or seniors whose goal it is to attain a job by graduation. Students from every major will find opportunities to discuss with employers their resumes and whether they are a good fit for that industry or business.
"I believe employers will be impressed with Troy University's students and their expertise in their field of study. TROY alumni have set a precedent that employers expect current students and graduates to attain of being hard working, dedicated employees who contribute greatly to their industry."
Space is still available to employers interested in the career fair. Upon registering, employers will receive further information regarding the facility, parking and campus.
Arrangements for employers interested in conducting campus interviews with students and alumni before or after the fair can be made through the career services office.
