MONTGOMERY—Vocal trio Horizon will bring the classic songs of Motown to Montgomery on Friday, March 23, at 7 p.m. with a performance at Troy University's Davis Theatre for the Performing Arts.

"The Legends of Motown" features energetic renditions of classic songs by the likes of The Temptations, Smokey Robinson and Marvin Gaye.

The Detroit-based trio Horizon includes vocalists Rick Ingram, Prentiss "Smoke" Jones and Earl Vinson. The group has been featured on the "The Tonight Show" hosted by Jay Leno, in Business Week Magazine and on Fox Sports harmonizing a special Super Bowl greeting to Detroit. Horizon has shared the stage with many legendaries such as The Temptations and The Four Tops.

Single tickets for the performance are on sale now and range in price from $25 to $50. Tickets for the middle and back balcony sections are being offered "buy one, get one free." Seating in those sections will be assigned by the theatre based on availability.
