MONTGOMERY — Iconic crooner Engelbert Humperdinck will open the 2013-2014 season at Troy University’s Davis Theatre for the Performing Arts with a performance in September.
Season tickets are on sale now for the series that features a lineup of Broadway favorites, acclaimed musical acts and other performances. Season tickets can be purchased by calling the theatre office at (334) 241-9567.
The Davis Theatre is located in downtown Montgomery at 251 Montgomery Street. All shows have a 7 p.m. curtain time. A season ticket package ranges in price from $110 to $190.
Known as the “King of Romance,” Humperdinck will kick off the Davis Theatre's season on Tuesday, Sept. 10, with a performance featuring many of his classic hits, including “Release Me,” “The Last Waltz,” “A Man Without Love,” and “After the Lovin’.”

In addition, season ticket holders will get free tickets to shows in the Community and University Bonus Series, including the Montgomery Ballet on Thursday, Sept. 26, and the Troy University Symphony Band on Tuesday, Feb. 18.
