DOTHAN — A traveling exhibit exploring the experiences of American women during World War II is currently on display at the Troy University Dothan Campus library.

“Beyond Rosie: Women in World War II" examines the ways in which women were affected by, and contributed to, the war.

“World War II had a profound effect on the everyday social, cultural and economic realities for women in the U.S.," said Christopher Shaffer, Director of Library Services at the Dothan Campus. “This exhibit explores this complex story and honors the women of this era."

The exhibit is on loan from Kennesaw State University and will be on display at the library through Oct. 4. Admission is free and open to the public.
